8/29/26: The San Francisco Giants retire Hall of Fame infielder Jeff Kent’s number in a pregame ceremony. Kent played six seasons with the Giants from 1997-2002, posting a .903 OPS and crushing 175 home runs for the franchise while winning the NL MVP Award in 2000.
