Manchester City have opened direct club-to-club talks with Chelsea to sign Enzo Fernandez.

Sky Sports News reported Chelsea were prepared to sell Fernandez to Manchester City for the right price – and if they can improve their squad before the window closes.

Man City’s interest in Fernandez remains despite missing Chelsea’s August 14 deadline to bid for him.

Manchester City have agreed a £65m deal with Everton to sign Iliman Ndiaye.

It’s broken up into a £60m guaranteed payment plus £5m in bonuses.

Ndiaye has permission to undergo a medical with City, which will take place tomorrow.
